Cloud Book - Boro Stitchery
Book Art has a long history…illuminated manuscripts thru story illustrations. My art includes vintage books that I’ve embellished. Sometimes I may cut into the cover and add my own artwork and then seal the book. The book acts like a frame for my art. Other times I cover the entire book, changing every page usually choosing a theme ... nature, memories, vacations, children’s stories. This is often called an altered book.
